USAID (United States Agency for International Development) is the branch of the U.S. government responsible for administering and implementing programs and projects in the West Bank and Gaza, with a primary focus on development, education, humanitarian, governance, and infrastructure. USAID's goal is to help "build a more democratic, stable, and secure region benefiting Palestinians, Israelis, and Americans."
